Cycle for Change Starts: October 15, 2017 at 8:00 am

Ends: October 15, 2017 at 2:00 pm

The County Attorney’s Office, in collaboration with Villa Maria, a non-profit shelter guiding survivors of domestic violence to self-sufficiency, invites you to participate in its 3rd annual cycling tour entitled “Cycle for Change: From Surviving to Thriving.”

The cycling tour will take place on Sunday, October, 15 2017, at 8:00 a.m. at Gallegos Park, 7361 Bosque Rd., 79834 in Canutillo, Texas.

In addition to raising awareness about the post-crisis phase of a domestic violence survivor’s journey, the cycling event raises funds to provide survivors of domestic violence with scholarships for educational opportunities, vocational training and therapeutic services.

There are 4 courses available:

50 – Mile Route: Start time 8:00 a.m. 30 – Mile Route: Start time: 8:30 a.m. 10 – Mile Family Ride: Start time 8:45 a.m. 1 – Mile Children’s Ride: Start time 8:55 a.m.

For the three longest courses, we will have rest stops with water and port-a-potties, and SAG vehicles.

We will be offering T-SHIRTS to the first 300 registered participants.

Participants will be automatically entered into a raffle for a chance to win several great prizes, including GIFT CARDS, and CYCLING GEAR.

As always, we will offer complementary snacks, food and beverages for all participants before and after the race!

We will also have music and a special appearance by the El Paso Chihuahua’s mascot “Chico”
